The museum appeared in 1991 in Latvia and became the second in the world. It was rebuilt in the same place where for 6 years (since 1744 till 1750) happily lived Baron Hieronymus Karl Frederick Fon Munchausen's (Иеронимус Карл Фридрих фон Мюнхаузен) and Jackobina Fon Dutten (Якобина фон Дуттен). At that time Hieronymus served in the Russian army. The waxen twin of baron meets guests among the trophies of the chases. There is an interesting exposition of wax figures of Latvian men of outstanding personalities. Tourists take a saunter to the sea (as baron did) through an unusual path made from quaking aspen...
