The territory of ETHNOGRAPHIC OPEN-AIR MUSEUM of Latvia is stretched on the border of Riga, near the Juglas Lake. It is the oldest and the largest museum of that kind in Europe. It is founded in 1924. It occupies 97 ha. Historical buildings, household articles, instruments of labour, goods of folk master's of arts and crafts, which retail about the rural life of inhabitants of every corner of Latvia from XVI till XX century.
